Simple operation
Molecular-level testing that needs no specialist staff: a two-step workflow of extraction, then one ready-to-use reagent tube.
Learn MoreRAA (Recombinase-Aided Amplification) runs at a constant 37–42 °C, so no thermal cycler is needed. Lyophilised reagents and a portable analyzer bring nucleic acid testing to the food-safety bench and the field.
About RAA
A recombinase binds tightly to the primer DNA at ambient temperature, forming a recombinase–primer complex. When the primer locates its fully complementary sequence on the template, single-stranded DNA-binding protein helps open the double strand and DNA polymerase synthesises a new complementary strand.
The product accumulates exponentially, and a labelled fluorescent probe lets the reaction be read in real time — typically within 5–15 minutes. All components are pre-mixed and lyophilised in the tube: add Buffer A, Buffer B and the extracted sample nucleic acid.

Results in 5–15 minutes on the fluorescence analyzer, against about 1.5 hours for a conventional PCR run.
Learn More03.
High sensitivity and specificity: the recombinase–primer complex recognises the target by base pairing, with no cross-reaction observed between species.

The Genchek analyzer weighs 3.8 kg and runs on AC or battery, suiting field conditions and on-site inspection.

Runs at 30–42 °C (optimum 37–39 °C). No thermal cycler: a heat block, water bath or incubator is enough for gel readout.

Freeze-dried pellets are ready to use and easy to ship, with no pipetting loss and no freeze–thaw damage. Stored at −20 °C.
